Open work permit and eta approved last night, have not gotten an email but it showed up on my online account - September 28 applicant
Thanks for answering the question.Yes, the sponsor can travel as long as she comes back within a reasonable amount of time, and no, it will not affect.
The button combo to check your OWP status is 1, 1, 1, 3, enter your application number, press # and 1 to confirm, enter your date of birth, press # and 1 to confirm.
Thanks.Congrats!
Chronologically you would have been the last missing piece and the tail end of the September Inland applicants. If everyone had the same approval time, we would’ve been all complete by now.
Good luck on the job hunting!
Okay. Anyhow I guess I should see the physical copy in my mailbox in 4 to 5 business days.By the way, I'm not sure that you'll get an e-mail if you haven't connect your OWP application to the myCIC online account. Cause the e-mail that I've recived a day after the approval was related to my account not specially to my OWP!
Yes she can go outside the country If she has her work permit. But she can only re enter with work permit from USA. If she tries to enter through another country she will need a work Visa. Please confirm it.Can the sponsor ( my wife) leave the country for a week or so? Will that affect our application
Thank you, Suga!Hi BR_ESL, I hope you are well!
So I just checked the online status of my marriage certificate and it finally says it has been processed and mailed out Jan. 14 by regular mail. I anticipate that I should receive it by next week. I have not yet received AOR but also feel that that is close. Am I able to send it "webform without a file #? We do have a UCI#...
Kind regards,
I think you can send them a note to let them know of the delay. I will be doing that too since I am in USA and got rcmp request and by the time I return to Canada I wont be able to meet their 1 month deadline. So I was waiting for owp to get approved before informing them of the delay. I got owp approved today so will write them an email to inform that I'll need a week of extension on top of 30 days to submit the rcmp fingerprints. Hopefully they won't have an issue with it.We went in and gave another set of fingerprints for my dad and this time they will be sent directly to the case processing centre.
His PCC is also arriving from Pakistan. It was mailed by courier today. But I don't think I will have it in time to mail it and for CPC Mississauga to receive it by the 25th of January (27th is the deadline and it's a Sunday).
Should I go ahead and request an extension? I do have the picture of the PCC but they need the original. Or should I upload the picture and mail them the original once I get it?
Should I also request an extension for the RCMP check as well?
Your thoughts guys?
I was thinking same, to request extension. But I'm going to wait til tomorrow once I have tracking info available to provide as proof that the PCC is on it's way but won't reach here in time to meet the deadline.I think you can send them a note to let them know of the delay. It depends from where you do it, but typically it's blood, urine, and [chest] x-ray tests. It can also include a psychological test. Results are done within a week or so and they go directly to IRCC. I don't think you need to stress about it. As soon as you get the request to do the medical exams, look in your area where you live to find the panel of physicians, schedule the appointments, make the payment, go and get them done. You'll have 30 days to do them. Hope this helps!Hello guys,
I have a question to all those who did their medicals, I'm just wondering what kind of tests they made you do? Can you describe to me what happens and how long it took for you to get it done in the doctors office?
Thank you!
Congs. I noticed two guys whose AOR were October 20, and yours is Oct 25. I doubt they deal with it according to the AOR instead of the received dates.Hello guys!
I am an October applicant. I'd like to share some exciting news here because I got lots of helpful information from you guys since I found this forum a few weeks ago.
