That's totally wrong my background check started before even Review of eligibility and 2 days after I saw that they are reviewing my eligibility

Well, I don't know about totally wrong because people I spoke with who had an interview had there background check start after the interview. Maybe it's not the case for everyone but people have told me about this. When my background check starts i'll let you know if it is before or after the interview.

That's true too what I mean the background check can be started any time even after the interview sometime take only one day in some cases I have seen

Also about the pre arrival services if you received that email that means you passed the eligibility and you don't need interview

Hey guys i m a feb 14,2018 applicant i sponsored my wife from morocco last saturday we received the prearrival services letter its been a week since than. any ideas how long does it take after for them to call us to the embassy and issue visa?

I am looking for some estimate timelines does it take 2 weeks 1 month ????
whats the next step in line

i just received my letter asking to come to the embassy on jan 23rd 2019 to watch some 50 min video and get the visa
do they give the visa on that date too?

App received Oct 1st, 2018 in Sydney
medical and biometrics and SA received Jan 18th, 2019

is the application would still be sent to Rabat or it might processed here In Canada or that's hard to tell ? If it does get send to Rabat for background check, how long does it usually take based on you guys experience!!

I have sent my application the first time to Sydney NS as requested by cic. They all go there initially!

Sorry for some reason I thought it went to Australia . My application actually went to Mississauga. I'm not sure how fast Sydney will process your application but for my application, it took around a month to process in Canada, then it took a few months to get sent to Rabat. Since then, i've been waiting. From what i've seen, if your a Moroccan living in Canada, this is your first marriage, you have known your spouse for more than 2 years, you will be processed quickly and most likely your spouse will not be interviewed. At this point your just going to have to wait and gather more proof of your relationship, as Rabat will ask for this in several months.

Hi after my husband did the medical we waited 7 months without hearing anything from them finally we got some news 2 weeks ago he had to submit new police clearance and recent messages I started sponsoring him 2018 April we are still waiting I hope I can be with my husband soon good luck
