got PPR yesterday and have been requested to send my passport to my visa office along with recent photos (4 copies). in the mean time, on MyCIC profile, under View Submitted Documents, there have been created containers asking for photos and passports. is this normal? do I have to upload anything?

Sorry but why 4 copies of photo? I heard its always 2 copies? Im thinking to take the photo in ahead

So I THINK I received a ghost update a week back. Like no email but checked online and there was the ‘application updated’ thing.

Thought will receive PPR soon but then I checked again last night and it had gone back to ‘Submitted’.

Once you check your status after the update, the status goes back to being "submitted". It wont stay "updated". Your file may have been approved. Try calling CIC to find out if the agent can you give any more clarity.

Hello,

My AOR is Dec 06, 2018. Yesterday I received an email from WES that IRCC was not able to access my evaluation report. As soon as I saw that email I ordered a duplicate report and sent it to IRCC. They will receive in one business day.

1. Does IRCC check this as soon as they receive it? Or put it on hold until my next chance?
2. Does this cause in any delay of the process time? Or cause any rejection?
3. I’m a CEC applicant, I did my masters in Canada and evaluation report was for my bachelors back from home. As the highest degree is from Canada will they consider masters degree and move on with my file?
4. What can I do to speed up the process and let them know that they received the ECA report?

There is no change in my application since my AOR date, not even my medicals.

Has anyone encountered this before?

I’m really worried and not able to hold it together. Please. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

In your case do the check if they recieved the additional doc, check online status, order gcms note after 2-3months from aor date.

Dont know why ircc cant access to evaluation dont know what that mean exactly? Did they ask you send the copy?

I didn’t receive any email from IRCC, I received it from WES that IRCC was not able to evaluate my report. No update from IRCC since I received my AOR.
I will order GCMS after 90days

Good afternoon,
I spoke with an agent yesterday who advised me that there is a note on my review for eligibility regarding my previous employer as they did not indicate my salary and my brother's proof of residency.
She advised me that my application is still in progress and advised me to send supporting documents and provided me a link via case specific inquiry.
I have already done it, however, I do not know what the success rate is for the addition of supporting documents.
I have not been requested for it in writing, but the telephone agent said to do so.
Please can you advise if this has happened in the past, and what the likelihood is of refusal?

I think no one has more doubts about the slowness nowadays regarding processing times, right??????

I remember few ppl advocating CIC was not slow and bla bla bla

My Background Check has started ... But have not received nay email notification or a new message on the CIC portal.

After that post.. I entered into holiday mode and never logged into CIC.

Today I was getting bored.. so I just logged in and I saw that the background check message has changed

So... the purpose of this post is to share my learning.. Has it happened to anyone else?

I applied some time within the same month as you did. My dashboard is in the same state so fingers crossed we'll hear back soon.

IT Applications Developer.Resigned my previous job in August after getting ITA. After serving 3 month Notice period ,I joined this new job as a Team Lead.This is a crazy team with no work life balance.Everyone in the team is frustrated and as a Team Lead,I have to make sure that they do productive work on top of my day to day code development work.

And,the application developed so far is a huge mess and the management is projecting roses to our client when its actually filled with thornes.My onsite counterpart and I are cleaning up the code written so far and started optimizing the application.I join countless useless meetings everyday and make Fast and Furious style promises to satisfy the egos of all the parties joined in the call.

13-14 hours of this nonsense including weekends.


P.S. This is my 100th post here. DudeLebowski hits a century.
