Hello Guys,

I was trying to calculate my presence through cic for citizenship calculator but if i choose the last option it wont work. Here are the details Below.

Landed July 6, 2017 (inland Sponsorship)
Arrive in Canada: November 27, 2015
Open Work Permit Received: September 6, 2016.
Date of Submission: August 30, 2018

On the Option

"Did you have Canadian temporary resident status (i.e. as a visitor, international student, temporary worker, temporary resident permit holder), and/or were a protected person) between 2012-08-15 and 2017-07-05?"

I Choose

Visitor : November 27, 2015 - September 6, 2016 (It Went Through)
Temporary Resident Permit Holder : September 6, 2016 - July 6, 2017 ( Always You have not completed all mandatory fields (*) or they have not been entered correctly. Please make the necessary corrections.)

Even if i combine both as temporary resident or visitor it wont get through.

Is there anyone who experience this one? I know that based on the immigration law it is now counted as half day when your on a temporary status.

If i made mistake pls advice, thank you very much in advance.

if you landed as PR in July 6 2017, the earliest you can apply for citizenship will be July 2019 with a 1 year pre-PR credit
that's probably why it won't go through

Thank you for the reply. I inputed august 2019 for the submission of application but still the same.

You are counting the day you received your PR status, July 6, 2017. It's asking you to submit dates up to July 5, 2017, because as of July 6 you held PR. Double check your entries, each day can only appear once in the calculation.

You were a visitor until the day before you got your TRP, then you held TRP until the day before you got your PR, you can't have 2 statuses on the same day. On the day you receive citizenship, before you take the oath you will be asked to surrender your PR card because a citizen cannot hold a PR card, not even for a day, that's what I was told at my ceremony.
