CEC October 2018 Applicants

I responded to ITA on October 11th and still waiting ,only medicals have been cleared and background check is in progress as per my profile, somebody kindly add me to the Whatsapp group too,it's a sincere request

Looks like there is no progress after medicals for CEC inland(October 2018) applicants. They are processing fsw-o USA applicants right now. Not sure when they will start processing our applications.

yeah, since last month there is no movement in CEC files, hope so soon they start working on CEC files .

There’s a huge delay with CEC, most people with a July AOR are still waiting.

Whereas this time last year (October 2017 AOR in CEC class) nearly everyone got PPR within 90 days.

I don’t know why CEC is going so slowly, especially considering we’ve all already been working in Canada for a year or more. It’s really frustrating

I second that. It's frustrating for all of us who are under CEC. No offense to other catagories, but CEC should be the most prioritized category for Canada as we have spent fair amount time here in Canada so our process should be faster!

Inland applicants don’t provide biometrics

Dang! I remember sending them my fingerprints when I applied the first time.

Anyway, I'm hoping that after ip2, it's just a PPR.

It's easier to do my own business after getting PR.

Agreed. Not only we are working here, but also paid our taxes for at least one full year.

Looking at the current trends none of the inland categories(CEC, PNP, FSW inland) are faster. Don't know why

Haven't got any email yet but it got updated in my account.

until Yesterday it was saying,
Background check : Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
(which is ip1)

Today it got changed to,
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
(which is ip2)

AOR: aug 7
MEP: 1st week of sep
ip1: 1st week of sep
ip2: jan 15

My AOR - Oct 23rd CEC inland.
No update since I passed my medicals (Nov22)
A friend applied after a month under CEC inland is now under IP2.

Not sure how the process works.
