Hi,
My question is about the maintaining of LICO income. What if I am willing to going back to university in order to upgrade my education for getting a high paid job than I am doing last several years? And during the time my husband will continue to work. Because by the time I will be done with my becularate degree my parents probably will be here in Canada and I will be available for working for a better job with a more handsome salary. So I will be a capable for taking care of my parents financially.

Hoping for an answer.

Your question isn't very clear.

You have to continue to meet LICO while your parents' application is processed (as well as the three years before you submit the application). If your husband's income is enough to meet LICO and he is willing to co-sign the application, then you'll be fine. Otherwise you should postpone your return to school until after your parents arrive in Canada.

Thanks for the reply.
One more question, do I have to maintain LICO income till my parents get status as a Permanent Residence or till they physically arrive in Canada?

Until they become PRs.

I thought getting an approval of my parents application is call having a status a permanent Resident. And I assume, I needed to keep my earning sufficient according to LICO income at least till my parents get status as a PRs not till they arrive here. Getting PR status and arriving here in Canada is two different things.

PR is activated upon landing in Canada. Even if they get approved, as long as they have not used their COPR to land, they are not considered PR.

Hello, I have two siblings who are under 22 years old. My question is, is it mandatory to add siblings? Because my income is sufficient for sponsoring 3 people including my parents and one of my siblings but insufficient for sponsoring four of them( 1200 of shortage). Is there any problem will occur if I sponsor three them ( parents and one sibling) instead of sponsoring four people?
