2018 Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications: timeline and updates

Hi Guys,

Is the letter to the Principal applicant saying processing of your application has been complete a DM Letter? We are Feb 02, Applicant. Have DM on Ecas sicne dec 20. Received this letter on Dec 24. Nothing after that. The letter said vancouver office will contact us.

Yea this is DM letter.

Hello everyone, our case has been decision made for a month, still haven't received DM letter and not interview date, wondering what a DM letter looks like. Should I contact CIC? We are from Vancouver office, yes, the busiest and slowest office

It is normal . I am in same situation. If you call most likely they won't give you any update. But you can certainly try calling

Hello Yaya, from Vancouver office, as in, living in that area, or the Vancouver office was the one that provided your Eligibility Passed letter?

Both, we live in Vancouver, and latest letter to PA said Vancouver office will contact you.

I received that letter as well on Dec 18, ECAS shows DM both side since Dec 13, no news after that

Hi there,

I am Apr13 applicant. I do have MyCIC account throgh my representative which shows ‘BG check is in progress’ since last week.
I am unable to access ECAS though. I tried everything, by Case number, by UCI, different variations of last names - my hysband’s- sponsor and mine- applicant. It doesn’t find neither of the profiles.
So in order to check for updates i need to contact my representative every so often which believe me it is pain in the ass.

Any ideas why we don’t have ECAS profiles?

Yesterday we got eligibility passed emails for me PA and my husband - the sponsor. Is this the AIP?

I can not understand the difference between security and background check, either? If someone clarify it would be appreciated.

Hi , I just logged in to check on my application status and surprisingly it already says Decision made - The status earlier was in process before. What throws me off though is that after clicking on that underlined status to see the details, the information is the same and nothing has changed.

Please advise as to why that happens.

Feb applicant, I got SA and DM on sponsor side on November 30th since then nothing applicant side is still in process.

We are the same situation. I got aip nov 23. SA and DM on sponsor side nov29. Nothing comes after that
