Seems like we early August applicants are the real unlucky ones. No word can describe my feeling. Speechless.
Same, I don't have words. I pressured at work, because my employer expected me to have PR already. I just applied for a work extension once again, but even with that CIC is useless, processing time for extensions more than two months now. Do they work at all now? For the last three months almost no ppr issued.

my employer is going bankrupt. almost everybody was laid off. i don't know what do to because i'm on a closed work permit, waiting for the PR since i completed 15 months... and if i'm laid off i'll have to stay unemployed, since a closed work permit extension won't be a possibility

I don't have words, it's unbelievable. I heard before that in cases when company closing, CIC issue open work permit. Try to do that and apply for open work permit, nothing to loose. But again, you will need to wait more than two months for results

I am worried what if our file gets skipped, or officer who is in charge of our file resigned, and did not pass it over to other officer.. sooo many thoughts
I agree, it can happen with us. It's enough people in other topics with simple cases that are waiting way more that 19 months.

We should have submitted applicants a little bit earlier, my friend received on 24 July already got pr card, i am a week behind him still waiting for Dm and ppr. We got same background.

I just spoke with cic, and they said everything is completed, and just waiting for the officer to confirm. It is very frustratingggg
That’s good, so the final step for us will be a officer to confirm? What else did He tell you about when to expect dm?
