Hello Experts,

Happy new year!!!

I have few doubts on filling IMM5708e form for my Mother in law who currently resides with us in Canada. we like to extend her stay for another 6 months and we are applying online.

1. UCI number - Where can i find that number?

2. Indicate how long you plan to stay? - From date and To date? My MIL resides with us from August, should i give that date or from date from expiry of current stay like Feb 2019 date?

3, Name and Person i will visit - She currently resides with us and have no other known families in Canada.
I have entered my wife's name, relation as daughter and our address. is that suffice? should i entry my name, son-in law as relation and same address again?

4. Employment - My MIL have worked in the past but currently retired and it's been couple years. In the employment section, they are asking for current activity/occupation - what should i give? homemaker or previous history of employment?

5. Background information - Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada? In the past, She has visited us couple times using visitor visa? is that what they mean be enter in Canada? if so what should i provide in details section?

I know above question are so basic but its confusing sometimes. I would be grateful if someone can answer all of it. Thanks much in advance.

Not sure why the difficulty in filling the IMM5708 which is pretty similar to IMM 5257 (when she applied for her TRV).

1. UCI number - Where can i find that number?
You can leave it blank if you are unable to find it.

2. Indicate how long you plan to stay? - From date and To date? My MIL resides with us from August, should i give that date or from date from expiry of current stay like Feb 2019 date?
The date her current status expires to the date she intends to stay.

3, Name and Person i will visit - She currently resides with us and have no other known families in Canada.
I have entered my wife's name, relation as daughter and our address. is that suffice? should i entry my name, son-in law as relation and same address again?
Same as the TRV application form unless that was a different address.

4. Employment - My MIL have worked in the past but currently retired and it's been couple years. In the employment section, they are asking for current activity/occupation - what should i give? homemaker or previous history of employment?
Same as the TRV application form.

5. Background information - Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada? In the past, She has visited us couple times using visitor visa? is that what they mean be enter in Canada? if so what should i provide in details section?
Same as the TRV application form considering she had applied previously as well
