CIC letter saying one should give their biometrics since it's optional. What letter?
Some argue that it can be done without that letter preemptively not to delay the processing.

I used a company called 'canadianfingerprints' - sent them fingerprints and they requested RCMP clearance on my behalf...Had it within 7 days of sending through my fingerprints...CIC letter saying one should give their biometrics since it's optional.

Thanks.Inform CIC for peace of mind as one member suggested.
There is no need for a new reference letter as the existing carries valid contact address of the company at the time of issuance of the letter. These things are normal.

those rare cases fall into security screening, which is infact a bad place to be at as the timeline for the final outcome is highly uncertain. From the threads what I have observed is that many have got their PPR request within the stipulated time period..only rare cases extend beyond 6 months time..please don’t demotivate others
