I filed my PR application in Oct 2018 and have been following Oct AOR thread for quite sometime but there were no updates on that thread. So, I just started following this thread and man, I must admit, this thread is awesome

The real MVPs are probably the June 2018 group! They are incredibly active (little too active, if I am honest) and have some of the most insightful gems hidden among the never ending jibber-jabber. hi guys i just received a ghost update ( no email) just on account application updated, but when i click on it nothing changes.
last time i checked with them eligibility was not started, does this update mean that eligiblity finally started ?

If your eligibility has been recommended passed, this could mean that it has been passed by the officer, that could also be related to your criminality having been passed.
Elibility was not recommended passed but not started last time i checked.( 1 week ago )
I also think it's only criminality, 4 month to check a police record

This is the status that currently shows up for my application. In another 10 days it will be 4 months since application submitted. Remaining processing time status bar show 10 weeks. Application was submitted on the September 17, 2018. Does anyone have any thoughts? Also please add me to the Whatsapp group 91 9676916646.
1. Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
2. Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
3. Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
4. Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
5. Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
6. Background check Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
7. Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

This is the same status for many people here i.e. IP1 including me.
The agent told me to wait for 2 weeks to get some news from CIC probably an update or status change.But,the agents are telling the same thing for many people that is to wait 2 weeks.Whats happening in 2 weeks people?Is this 2 week update by agent like the progess bar?

AOR - Sep 13th
MEP - Oct 11th
Ip1 - Following day
IP2 - Jan 7th
Having seen couple of members' with similar MEP dates background status change on last Friday, I was hoping mine to change yesterday (Monday). I logged in to my account at around 3:15pm Toronto time. The status was what it has been since MEP "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." Logged in a couple of hours back and it has changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information"
No email notification or a ghost update. Hoping for the golden email within a month or two.

When the status of your application over the portal says 'updated' but when you check there is no update in the application.
