Documents required after ITA

Hi,

I have received ITA and on follow up, I have a few questions:

1. My sister moved to Canada last year (Sep 2018). Can I claim points for my sibling being in Canada?
2. My sister is yet to receive her PR Card but has already got other documents done with. So can any other document suffice for the requirement of proof of PR? In case yes, What can I get from her? I already have her passport (for the relationship) and her bank statement (for proof of residence).
3. In case of no (to above point), can I attach my Brother-in-law's PR card and their marriage certificate? (My BIL has already got his PR card).
4. Do we mandatorily need to get statements from the bank about our credit card dues status?
5. Can my wife take funds from her father as a gift? Also, do we need to attach both gift deed and affidavit, in case we take funds from our parents?
6. If salary is not mentioned in reference letters, can we attach salary slips and last appraisal?
7. Can someone share any letter of explanation format? (I know it is case to case basis, but I just need to understand the format. Pointers I already have)

5.Yes. Any large sump deposited will have to be duly explained, and in this case a gift deed works. Yes she can take funds from her father, and you can use her bank account as POF. For point 4. If you're using that bank account to show proof of funds, then yes it would be a good idea.
For point 7. My apologies, I misread it. There is no format really. It depends on what you want to explain. You can do it section by section. For example if you want to explain something in personal history and work experience sections, you can go like this.

Letter of Explanation

Work Experience section:
1/Explanation
2/Explanation

Personal History section:
1/....
2/....

etc.

For proof of relationship, we don't have any birth certificate. But the passport list name of both of our parents. Is it not enough? What more can be added?

Passports with just same family name won't be enough. Many people share the same family name, without being related at all.
You need some substantial evidence of relationship. Best way to achieve that is either through birth certificate or family book if your country has that kind of thing. It needs to be document that basically shows you have the same parents.
