Thanks Jaywalker. Do you mean my case may be under security screening which could be very long, right?
Yes this looks like SS - I would suggest you to order CBSA notes to get 100% confirmation. In those notes the activity 1-10 would not be redacted.

Hi,
My AOR is 25th June, MEP & IP1 - 11th July, IP2- 27th October. Criminality completed and security checks were yet to began in my GCMS. However, got this reply from CPC Ottawa today morning. Please let me know this internal processing referes to?

Dear Client,

Please be informed that we are awaiting the results of some internal processing prior to the finalization of your application. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times. At this time, there is nothing that is required on your part and Security Check is still pending. Your continued patience is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

MD18910
Hehehe...we could be twins! I got the exact same reply from CPC Ottawa. Only variation: ‘...and Security Check is still pending’ was not mentioned. Though it very much is according to my GCMS notes! I mailed them yesterday pointing out the same. So looks like they amended the reply slightly to avoid repeat queries :p

Also, and this is kinda funny, is the font colour for these sentences -
‘outside of our posted processing times. At this time, there is nothing that is required on your part and Security Check is still pending. Your continued patience is greatly appreciated.’ - in BLUE? It is curiously enough in a pale blue font in my email.

Finally, my email is signed off from ‘CPC-O’ and not an individual like in your case.

My AoR: 24June18 (just a day before yours)
My IP2: 26Oct18 (just a day before yours)

@tobs you were right! This is the new standard response :D

Thanks so much for the advice. Is CBSA specifically for comfirming SS? Sorry, but I have little knowledge about these.

when did you get to know about your application approval?
is this the very first time that you email these VOs about your approved application?
I am aware of my approval since November but mailed to VOs for the first time as my consultant always resisted me to act proactively. However seeing such positive outcomes I disregarded his opinion and sent mail to VOs yesterday.

Thanks, Tobs. Can I also ask: If I am under security screening why my GCMS does not tell me that but all in blank? I am a bit confused.
I believe it's been over two/three years since GCMS mentioned security screening. They stopped it a while back.
Now,GCMS indicates security by the security being redacted (blank) in many sections.. while It gives an indication, it may also mean something else. That's why you need CBSA notes to confirm or deny.

Still more than you can afford atm. Let's see how this "thing" goes. You'll need to be on your best behaviour and stop courting trouble.....Then we'll see!.
