My friend landed in Pearson airport Canada as international student yesterday and immigration officers seized his passport told him that university payments should be cleared and the tickets for the Nova Scotia where he got accepted for studies and original educational documents so but he planned to study in Humber college in Ontario. What he can do to get study permit?

As much as I could understand, if the passport is seized, your friend is not allowed outside the airport also. Your friend needs a lawyer and no advice here is going to work for him.
