I pray for you that your file isn't in Montreal. You just started the wait and you don't know what people who have waited for soo long are going through.
And yes, people can get "hypersensitive" in your words, because some have their lives, future and everything dependent on the process. I wonder what you are doing on this thread in the first place.
Go and find out your VO and if it end up being Montreal, come here and join the loong wait, then you would learn by that to be more sensitive and not give snide remarks
sorry about that, i should have thought things through before posting.

Hey Cansha..there were 2PRs reported on Montreal WhatsApp group and 1 reported on July Whatsapp group who declared that her/his VO was Montreal.(He/she never joined the Montreal group) One of the person's who got PPR on Montreal WA never filled her details on the excel sheet.I just filled it now. She had RR for employment docs and proactively uploaded docs after receiving gcms)
The other three were on this forum. One on your list and the other two were never active.

Some June folks waiting are inland and that buttresses on the point I made yesterday that inland files are not exactly priority for Montreal hence they leave them and jump to later outland files. Although there are also june outland folks on the excel too, these ones and cases like yours make my point somewhat invalid based on facts. The june folks waiting are active on WA, last gcms either shows nothing since the case analyst comments or elligibility passed from RR but nothing more.

Each time I try to look for a sequence with Montreal, I get even more confused
Well there is some sequence to it. See most over delayed cases are inland so we can keep them out. Not sure what happened in those cases. But then we had few cases in May and June as well which were inland but didn’t get delayed. Then there are cases in June.
I don’t know how they are slipping through the cracks that they are invisible to them. Anyways great for the July folks if they keep up the rocking performance as Friday may be there won’t be long wait for the remaining July folks.

Guys , if you have received PPR from Montreal VO please clarify the following. Was your application transferred to Montreal after r10 check? If it was please mention after how long. Example: Aor June 20, r10 done on July 1 but file transferred on August 1 so 1 month delay after r10. Did this delay your PPR or did you still get it within 6 months? Appreciate your help guys! This will will help others who are stuck to get an idea. You can just post Aor, r10 and transfer to Montreal date to make it easier.
Here is mine:

I never ordered any notes. I called the call center 4 times during 6 months:
1. August: File is in CIO. All three (Eligibility, Criminality Security) are not started.
2. September: File is moved to Montreal. All three (Eligibility, Criminality Security) are not started.
3. November: File in Montreal. All three (Eligibility, Criminality Security) are not started.
4. December: File in Montreal. Eligibility is in progress. Criminality Security are not started.

I dont know if r10 was first done in CIO or Montreal. Sorry, I am not of much help...

Thank you , that is helpful. So even though there was some delay between Aor and transfer to Montreal , it arrived in 6 months.

This week will be interesting and important. Hopefully all/most June files are cleared and progress for July too .

Yes you can request them to change it to New York VO. There were a few cases where PPR email itself instructed people to submit passport at NYC.
Anyone has changed it to LA or NY Visa center to send PP lately, what is their timeline?

Hey Cansha @cansha
So I just realized my passport has a validity if less than six months. I know that COPR cannot be stamped on current passport so I have to get it renewed.
Based on your experience, do you think file will be approved without updated passport or it can be approved but after approval they would ask for updated passport before COPR?
I am not sure whether to proactively renew my passport now or wait for approval. If I am sure that they would not approve my file without updated passport then I would do it ASAP. But if I know that they can approve it regardless, then I would wait and get it renewed after approval. Cos then I would have a proof for expedited processing for my embassy. Before then, they can take their sweet time

In the past they have sent ADRs for updated passports. And in some cases they don't and people just send the updated passport post PPR. They are not consistent.

It can be approved with less than 6 months. Mostly affects your visa expiry. Your visa expiry will just be earlier than your medicals.
I'll suggest you go ahead with the renewal process pending when you get PPR. Then raise a CSE and submit the new passport with a copy of the old's bio data page for visa & COPR
