My montreal family is lucky for me I think! They found the package!

Long story short: Because UPS couldn't ship to PO Box, they returned it to sender, and in the return label they didnt add my apartment number, they delivered it to another apt (the driver took the first 3 digits of my phone number to be the apartment number and delivered it to an unoccupied apt- unbelievable!!).

Freak case! Anyway now I am paranoid about my PPs and it will keep me anxious till I send it and get it back again! I am thinking if I should ask for the USA VO - New York and get COPR from there?
Oh thankfully you get your passports. Many people have sent passports so it should not be issue with PO box address. Did you verify the address you entered?
What are other people doing to send their passports? if that PO box address is the reason behind that fiasco then its a big concern..

I did reach out to CIC to get an address because i wasn't comfortable sending to a PO box address.

Here's the address i got from them :
CPC-O
365 Laurier ave W.
Ottawa (ON) K1A 1L1

So is this the alternative address? The better one?
They mention this address on their website as well (albeit for TRV). I have also emailed them to confirm this the correct physical address.

Yeah Montreal sucks compared to other VOs. What is your AOR? Are you on Cansha's list

My AOR is aug 10th. Meds passed sept 1st. Eligibility recommend pass i am not sure about the date as my online profile still shows under review but the agent had confirmed in december that it was pass.
If Cansha could add me to the list that would be great, so we can keep a track of it.

Reading all the PPR posts today from montreal, i wanna say Good job montreal - you the best! but the irony is strong lol. I have become like a caveman in my room striking bars as each day completes!

Yes you can request them to change it to New York VO. There were a few cases where PPR email itself instructed people to submit passport at NYC.

:D:D:D:D:D:D@ caveman striking bars. I am holding myself from not getting too excited about Montreal. We would watch next week to see. Six is an impressive number for Montreal especially because we are not sure how many more they must have approved that we don't know about. But for Montreal that used to do 2/3 in a week, 6 in a day is definitely record breaking. Fingers crossed! I am july 24th AOR and still have my hopes set to End of Feb/March. If it comes earlier, it would be a pleasant surprise
