Yu2018, how is parking when you go for test in Vancouvr? Did you transit or drive? What time was your test?
My test was at 8:16. We arrived around 8 am by car and park right after Costco. $7 till 6 pm (we were not sure how long it will take). We finished at 10:30 am. There is tons of public parking closer to the CIC office but I believe it is more expensive. If your test later then my you can park at Costco (I believe it is $2 per hr).

Please update. Just got my Test Invite for February 4.
It also says that if I pass the test -- the oath ceremony will be held on the same day. Did it happen to someone else?
Yes,I have read about similar situations in the past since your application took longtime to be completed

I was give Jan 2019 as a timeline (did the test in Dec), but checking the spreadsheet and comments here, doesn't look like it is going to happen as many Scarborough folks are still waiting from Oct and Nov.

I've been doing some practice tests and one question has stumped my on v-soul. Wanted to get some opinions. Th equestion and possible answers are:

What does Register of Electors contain?
A. List of Canadian citizens less than 18 years old who are qualified to vote in federal elections and referendums.
B. List of Canadian citizens of more than 18 years who are qualified to vote in federal elections and referendums.
C. Personal information of voters which is given to each political party.
D. List of all Canadian citizens who are qualified to vote in federal elections and referendums.

The correct answer according to v-soul is D.

However, Discover Canada says:

"The voters’ lists used during federal elections and referendums are produced from the National Register of Electors by a neutral agency of Parliament called Elections Canada. This is a permanent database of Canadian citizens 18 years of age or older who are qualified to vote in federal elections and referendums."

Elections Canada says:

Created in 1997, the National Register of Electors is a permanent, continually-updated database of Canadians who are qualified to vote in federal elections and referendums

Who is eligible to vote in the federal election and referendums?

You may vote in this federal election if you:

· are a Canadian citizen

· will be 18 or older on election day

· are registered to vote

Therefore shouldn't the correct answer be B or am I being an idiot?

At first I agreed with you but when I read the question more carefully I realized option B said "Canadian citizens of more than 18 years", not "more than 18 years old". According to this option, you have to be Canadian citizen for more than 18 years to be able to vote. Discover Canada also indicated 18 year old to be a voting age as well, not just more than 18 years old. By elimination, D is the correct answer.
Hope that makes sense to you. The question is a bit confusing I must say.

B is wrong because it says above 18years, the qualification is 18 years and above.
D talks about about citizens qualified to vote, by qualification means 18years and above on election day

Thank you so much for your kind and generous sharing of information. Much appreciate will consider after factoring in the different variables. I hope I can be of help to someone else too.

When did you take your test? For me it's been almost a month but no oath invitation yet. God knows how much more time they are gonna take.
