Hello folks,

So after an year of study in Canada, I gathered 67 points on FSW grid. Yet when i submitted the profile (pretty sure with all the correct details), I received a dreaded "We regret to inform you that you are no longer eligible to be in the pool.". It doesn't even show my earned points, or the exact reason of ineligibility.

How I calculated 67 points:
IELTS : (taken in Dec 2017, CLB 9+ in all sections; S 8.5 | R 8 | L 9 | W 7) : 24 points
Education : WES evaluated Bachelor's from India + 1 year cert. from Canada = 22 points
Age (26 years) : 12 points
Work Ex (1.5 year in India) : 9 points

= 67 points

Could any of following reasons be the cause? (edit : they aren't the causes I conclude)
1. I only mentioned the required one year work experience in the EE profile from Oct 2015- Oct 2016. Maybe the system calculated it less than one year ?
2. I received my WES ECA report today. Maybe it hasn't been delivered to IRCC yet ?

I mean this is what I could think of. I have also raised a ticket with CIC through webform for this, and hope this get resolved soon.

Any inputs would be valuable :/ (@DelPiero07, maybe?)

No need to contact IRCC. This is not their issue. You need to figure this out yourself

Did you put enough funds in your profile.

Hey, thank you for responding.

I put CAD 13000 in the profile under How much money will you bring to Canada section, (adding a little buffer to the required $12475 for 1 person, as per CIC website.)

Is your primary NOC 0AB
Is your one year experience in primary or another NOC
Yes sir, it's an NOC A (2171). Snippets from my profile below (unable to post images, ugh)

I re-checked. I have specified 2171 as my primary occupation, became qualified to practice this in May 2015, and worked Oct 2015-Oct 2016 in 2171.

Hmm one more thing, check if you answered all the questions correctly for your Canadian education.
Especially this one "Was more than half the study program English or french as a second language"

Thanks anyway, I appreciate the concern :)
You should check weekly hours worked, some people mistakenly put daily hours instead of weekly hours.
If you have 1.5 years experience then you did you mention only 1 year? Hiding information may hunt you down later.

Good Luck!

I confirmed again. Answered "Yes" to Was more than half the study program English or french as a second language?.
and also Yes to "Was this degree, diploma or certificate from a private post-secondary school that operates under the same rules as public schools?"

You need to put the full length of your employment; your experience letter/letter of reference from that employer should reflect the same work period that your profile does.

Hi @ishq74

thanks for the inputs. Just checked, hours per week was entered correctly as 40.

um, I was convinced from forum posts that I only need to mention the experience I can easily produce reference letter for. For the experience I mentioned in the application (Oct 2015-Oct 2016), I already have the reference letter.

The other 0.5 years was at a different job (same NOC, but after a 6 month gap from this job). But if that's recommended, I'll mention both jobs, and also the job I am working right now in Canada in EE profile. I mean I was going to mention all this in the personal history section later, but if it's recommended, I'll mention this upfront in a new EE profile.

Thanks,
Anir

Hey @mgnlky

I completely understand this. As quoted in my reply above, the total experience is 1 year (at job A, with reference letter) and 0.5 years (at job B, with no reference letter yet). A and B were not continuous, and had a 6 month gap in between.

Thanks again,
Anir

It actually seems there may be a technical glitch happening. Several threads seem to indicate the same issue...
