dr jafs: In this entire process I have called the call center just once to confirm whether they had received my finger prints clearance from RCMP. After confirmation I have never called them.Congratulations! Great news!! I was hoping too... But no news yet. My application was received on the 8th January 2018. So sad, still waiting for the oath.
Hello sir congrats for ur oath invitation.. .. can you please tell how to use webform?.. like what is the process??..dr jafs: In this entire process I have called the call center just once to confirm whether they had received my finger prints clearance from RCMP. After confirmation I have never called them.
However I had used webform to inform them that I will be away for a month due to a medical emergency in home country in Aug and they responded that its noted.
Now comes the game changer, I knew I will complete 12 months on 12th Jan . So on 29 Dec I just used the webform and wrote that I am going to complete 12 months processing timeline on 12th Jan and need an update in my case. Today morning I got the Oath invitation by email. This is the best New Year surprise for me.
I would suggest you to put in a webform enquiry rather than making a call . Hope it works in your case too.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1169&top=5Hello everyone, i’m a 2018 January applicant, My application has been in process since March, that same month I got a letter that said they have sent my application to a special case and that will cause a delay. When I called them the officer said it was because of my name change. I recently got my new PR with my new name and it’s updated in status, I just wanted to know if anyone knows what is a special case, Thanks
Hi Mrva21, I will complete a full year tomorrow and I didn't receive a test invite yet. Do you think I need to contact them or just wait? Please let me know if you get any updates. Thank you very much.Just called IRCC to find out whats happening with my application and if i need to renew my PR card (expires in June) and the agent told me that they will send an email to my local office to inquire whats happening as they passed due for processing and will advise if renewal is needed and to call them back in February if i don't hear nothing back. I hope to hear some good news soon! Good luck everyone who is still waiting on a test invite in 2019.
