Express Entry Process

Hi,
Presently, I am on worker status in Canada. I got invitation to apply (ITA) in August, 2018 and submitted online in the same month.
I need to travel back to my home coutnry for 3 months. What happens, if I get passport request in this time period or get interview call in this time period? What can be my options in this case?

You can request to delay passport submission, or submit it to the processing center in your home country/region.
If it's an interview you can request to reschedule.
