If your mother has any travel history in the last 5 years, her chances are good. What i would suggest is that there is no need to show that your wife is expecting as the behavior of the visa officer will not be effected because of this reason. Just simply mention that she wants to visit you for 1 month and thats it. Send her a notarized invitation and a notarized copy of your PR card and tell her to include her bank statement (in original) with the application.Hi All,
I am PR of Canada and want to apply for visit visa for my mother as i my wife is expecting and I want my mother to stay with her in last 1 month. As we don't have any relatives in Canada and i am working full time as well.
My mother is fully dependent on me. She has one home under her name and she is currently residing in different city in rented house as my brother is studying there. So for families ties I have my brother studying in University and my sister who just completed her studies. So both are dependent on my mother. I am working full time and can provide tax returns and letter from my company.
She can not stay for more then one month as my brother and sister are dependent on her so super visa is not option. I wanted to ask what are the chances of getting visit visa for my mother if I state the purpose of her visit to be with me during the birth of her first grand child.
I would suggest you to mention this in your invitation letter the reason of your child birth + visit to different places of Canada. Two months before I applied for my parents for the same reason (child birth) and alhamduliAllah my parents got visa.If your mother has any travel history in the last 5 years, her chances are good.
