I've to get Dubai Police Clearance Certificate. Can I directly apply for it in the http://dubaipolice.gov.ae/ website? I've my emirates ID, passport, photo, etc.. My emirates ID is connected to my old passport. I now have my renewed passport as well. The website asks only for one passport, which one should I upload?

Are you applying from within or outside UAE? I applied from within UAE and while obtaining the PCC they didn't ask me for the passport or a photo. Just the emirate ID was required.

Sorry I think I have misunderstood your question. You mean to say Dubai police website is asking for the passport? I wonder why, because it didn't ask for anything from me except for Emirates ID no.

The Ministry of Interior website asks only for Emirates ID, yes. But, dubaipolice website asks for passport.

Didn't ask from me. Probably because you're applying from outside UAE.

From outside UAE. I'm in India now.

Your new passport will definitely have the old passport number as well. Just have a look at the last page of the new passport. The second last line will have your old passport number.

Anyhow, I would suggest you upload the new passport as it has your old passport number as well. However, if you wanna be on a safer side then scan both the passports and merge them into a single pdf file and upload the same.

i am having the same issue. Can you tell me what you uploaded for passport? my residence visa is in old passport
