Hello everyone!
I will try to be as precise as possible as I see many of us have the same questions. I hold a Work Permit and my wife holds both a Student and Work Permit. I submitted my profile to the Express Entry and we have the points to make it to the round of invitations. However, I red in the official portal that:
You can apply to become a permanent resident from inside Canada only if you hold a temporary residence permit.
As I only have a work permit, what does it mean in practical terms that I am applying from within Canada? Is it valid at all or I have to go out of the country?
