Hi everyone. I am seeking clarification to a disturbing question. I currently have a valid Open Work Permit in Canada and my Visitor's visa has just expired. I am at the point of applying for restoration of my Visitor's Status. While filling the form, I got confused about a question asked on what is my current status in Canada. Should I pick 'worker' or Visitor.' Also they ask on the form when my current status in Canada will expire. Should I use the expiry date on current Open Work permit or use the date of my expired Visitor's visa since I am supposed to be applying for restoration of my status.

Restoration is for people who are in Canada illegally. If you have a valid work permit, you have status as a worker. You can't apply for Restoration of a TRV. You just apply for a new one.
