PR for spouse

Hello,

I am currently in the EE pool waiting for an ITA. I have mentioned spouse accompanying me to Canada and the score is 438.

Just curious to know, If I change it to spouse not accompanying to improve my score and get an ITA. Once I get my PR and do landing in Canada.

How many days do I have to wait before I apply PR for my spouse?
Will she be able to get a temp visa to stay in canada until the PR is issued?

I'm in the exact same situation but I'm certain, at least, that I don't wanna do this alone. However, as per what people have said online, it takes anywhere from one to one and a half years to sponsor your wife for PR. For temporary visa, like a visitor visa, the process will be simpler and shorter definitely but I'm unsure about any complicating factors.
