Hello,
I jsut have a question . In the pesonal history section , let's say i was employed until the 20th July and started another job on the 12th August. Since you can't select the exact days ,
do I have to add Unemployment from July until August ?
or like my job ended in October 15th and I started a new job in October 28th , do i need to add Unemployment from October to October ?

or like my job ended in October 15th and I started a new job in October 28th , do i need to add Unemployment from October to October ? No. You can end one job in October and begin the next one in October as well.

I was reading this thread and saw that FAE7 saying that .. one cannot specify exact dates in personal history form.
CIC has just rejected my application as incomplete because I lived in a country for 24th of Nov of a year till 30 of Sept of a year (as written on my passport) but CIC claimed I wrote 01 Sept to 01 Nov (basically the error is from the exact dates.

Wondering if anyone remembers/or could help confirm the date format in address/personal history form - does it allow you to enter specific dates

Did you resolve this or find out how to circumvent this? I am filling up my personal history and have the exact same question. How do add specific periods falling mid month when the form does not allow date level details to be entered. Did you reapply?
 
I wrote CIC and humbly referred the visa office on my case to check the dates in my passport - I included all stamped pages, but I guess I fell in a not so kind hand. Was told the decision remains the same. I waited for several months and 'reapplied.' Be careful with CIC - dot all your 'i's and cross all 't's

Should I put in holidays? Like if I took a 2 week vacation should I say from x to y on holiday!

No, you do not need to get into such a detail.

may I know if this also applies to OINP?
as I see they even ask date in dd/mm format.

So how to response to this? sometimes cannot remember the exact date...
