Regarding my spouse's second medical exam

I need an urgent help regarding my spouse's second medical exam. We have been invited to apply for PR under CEC -EE one month ago. My wife completed her medical exam 11months ago during her spousal open work permit. We went to panel physicians to do our medical exam but the panel physician denied to do the medical exam for my wife since it is still valid (less than 12 months). however, the main concern is my wifes medical test result will not be valid during the application processing time. Our application submit deadline is 27th January, 2019 and my wifes medical will expire on 17th January. In this what should we do please advice.

Should we submit with the old medical result for her and do the medical test again for her after the 12months validity?

If you apply before Jan 17th, use the medical she has already done. Medical results can be extended for an additional year, so wait for a request from IRCC before doing another medical. They may just extend her current medical.
