Hello everyone.

I would like to know what are the cheapest public colleges in Canada.
And I'm asking for the public colleges, because me and my family will only be eligible for the Public Health Service if I stay studing in a public college.

Almost all reputable colleges in Canada are public. A quick google/Wikipedia search will let you know if a college is a public college or not.

The cost of the college depends on the province more than the college itself. Less populated provinces and smaller provinces tend to have cheaper rates.

I don't know what you mean by public health services but most provinces in Canada make you have mandatory private health insurance.

No. Only some provinces will cover you under their provincial health care system. These are Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories and Saskatchewan. Depending on the province there are different elegibility requirements that you have to meet.

For the rest of the provinces you will have to mandatorily pay for private health insurance. This is arranged by your college or university.

Either way this will only apply for you, the person who is the student and not any other family members. You will have to purchase insurance seperately for your dependants.
