What I'm confused about is, if we send in photos and police checks with fingerprints with the initial application, why would they need them again as biometrics?

That I don't know as I did not submit a police check for my father as it was not required for his application.

My mother has sponsored my father in-land hence I am following this thread. You will see me referring to my father's file often and that's because I am responsible for the paperwork.

Did mine in Toronto as well. Was $250 for the exam and $45 for the X-ray.

For info, I found a place in Etobicoke who charges 180 + 40xray and they have eMedical system.
Heading there later today !
