Confused between NOC 2171 & 2282

Hi Team,

I am designated as Staff Specialist Technical Support Analyst. I have 6 years of experience & also have Masters degree in Computer Application. My company is going to file ICT work permit for Canada but I am confused between NOC 2171 & 2282.

When I search my designation in codes, It is mentioned under NOC 2282. Also most of the duties i do is mentioned there but I provide L3 support not first line support. I am subject matter expert of our proprietary product.

I don't know if NOC 2171 is best suited for me or 2282. Can you please help me?

you should select the NOC whose duties resembles or close to yours... it shoudn't be selected based on job title...

Some of my duties are similar to NOC 2282 but I can't use expedited processing stream. As according to that NOC code, It is considered as B Skill level. So should I go for NOC 2171 ?
