EE application / change language results after submission?

I'm using this tool to estimate my CRS score
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
According to the tool my score is currently estimated at 437, however my score could jump above 450 if I improve my language tests results.

My questions:
- Is the tool estimation precise? and if not what would be a fair error margin to take into consideration?
- Would it be possible to update the language test results once I submit my Express Entry application? if not would it be possible to withdraw the application and resubmit a new one with the update as a workaround?

Thanks

It's fairly accurate. Although there may some differences because in the EE profile, you are asked more precise questions.
But if you did a correct evaluation of your situation, there shouldn't be any.
Once you submit your profile, if my memory serves me well, you will only be able to change language results after you receive ITA, and before you submit the PR application. No need to withdraw and resubmit.

Thank you for the quick reply.

I'm a little bit worried about the "if my memory serves me well" part though, are there any recent applicants to confirm?

Well I know for a fact that you can change language results after getting ITA, that's for sure. Because that's the concern you seem to have.
I don't think you can between EE submission and ITA. That's the part concerned by "if my memory served me well".
Just submit EE profile, get ITA, and then when you get new language result, update them Post-ITA.

I've checked the previous rounds of invitations throughout 2018 and they all seem to have a minimum selected score of at least 440, mine is currently 437. Are those invitations different from ITA's? because otherwise it wouldn't make sense to apply, that would freeze my application forever .

I understand you haven't submitted your EE profile yet, and you're not in the pool yet. Correct?
If so, then when you enter the pool with 437, it's likely that you'll indeed have to improve your score to get ITA. And better language is indeed one of the best ways to do it.
I realise now I may have misguided you, my apologies. I just remembered you actually can change your language scores at any time, up until PR submission. Silly me...

Submit EE profile, and when you get your new language scores, change it in your profile.

Sorry about the confusion.

Makes sense, thanks for the update!
