Even if you send the solemn declaration and we assume it is accepted, chances of you getting the card before 28 december are slim. So, may be wait for the card to be mailed(as per the existng pricess) and keep on following on call.

I received my PR card a whole six weeks after faxing the solemn declaration. Not sure if the processing times have increased or I was just unlucky.
 
Guys anyone wants to share recent timelines after sending solemn declaration? How long it will take to receive the PR card.

Wondering about this too! Hope somebody can share their recent timelines.

For us, my dad's card was sent to an incomplete address (they missed the unit # even though it was on our application, I double checked). The 6 weeks have not passed yet so can't submit the declaration yet...I was hoping the card will come back to them (as returned mail) and they will remail it but so far nothing...Still have to wait till mid Feb to do anything, so frustrating

Hi Sidganesh,
I have a similar issue the card was not delivered due to a missing unit number for me and my partner. Now, I am outside Canada and I have to send Solemn declaration to CIC because 6 weeks have passed and they did not receive my and partners card back.
My question is
1) Can I give my friends phone number as I don't have any Canadian phone number or should l leave it as N/A?
2) I see you faxed it from outside Canada, once the card was delivered to your Canadian address, how did you get it outside Canada?

I would really appreciate if you can help me.

1. Since I was living outside Canada, I gave my friend's address and telephone number.
2. My friend couriered the PR cards to me (I think it was by FedEx)

Did you submit your solemn declaration? Any update? I submitted mine on Mar 12, 2019. Sent web inquiry this week, CIC said they are processing solemn declarations from Feb 13, 2019 currently.

I submitted my solemn declaration on 4th March and the card was delivered on 18th March to the address.
 
Hi,
I also didn't receive my PR Card, it was sent to wrong address. I am planning to send the solemn declaration form, my questions are
a) How to ensure they send it to correct address this time, there is only one address block 'permanent address' in the form.
b) My previous application updates is not available online(cic website), will I get new application number for tracking after submitting solemn declaration number
c) any other pointers in getting the PR card delivered to correct address...please let me know

Quick question, I recently faxed solemn declaration. I want to know if we will get separate case number for tracking this ... or will this be tracked as part of previous case... please let me know.

Hi,
We did not receive our PR cards for my wife and children and we are out of Canada.
For Solemn declaration form, what we need to enter in following, we are out of canada.
1 - Under the following circumstances (full information must be provided below).
2 - I have made following efforts to locate this document (if applicable indicate police authorities notified and attach a copy of police report or incident report number).

Any filled samples will help.
