Hello Guys,
I am July 3rd applicant. Unfortunately my file has been transferred to NDVO. If CIC see any issue in the Application they send it to NDVO instead of Mississauga. In my case my spouse biological father was passed away at very early age. That is why the birth certificate has Biological father name and all other document has name of father who raised.

In my application i submitted death certificate of her biological father and Marriage certificate of Spouse mother and my spouse step father. I also submitted a affidavit from my spouse explaining this situation. I see because of this issue my file is sent to NDVO. Now what additional validation or documents or proofs can NDVO ask? Will they ask Adoption documents as well?

Please guys help,
Thanks
Just because your application was forwarded to NDVO, it doesn't mean that there's a problem. Most applications are sent to the local VO as they're better equipped to understand local culture and traditions. A few were processed in Mississauga, but they're not even 5% of the total.

My application was transferred to Mississauga and it's been 4 months I haven't heard anything from them. I don't think Mississauga is fast in any way whatsoever

What's your status on GCKEY?
We are using Lawyer. So not using gckey. But i heard my status over the call.
We are reviewing your eligibility.
We do not need additional docs.
You have passed medical
You do not need interview
You do not need fingerprints
We are processing your background check

Our file was transferred on 27th nov but no AOR2 line on ECAS.
ECAS-
1) We received your application on 25th June
2) we sent you medical letter....
3) We received your medical results.

Nothing changed after that.

I applied on June 11, his medical was done on Sept 24, and his file was transferred to Mississauga on August 29. Since then no response from cic! My husband lives in Australia on work visa but he's a Bangladeshi citizen, maybe that's why it's causing so long I don't know. But his background process hasn't even started yet.
