The status is still stick on-
Your application is in progress. we will let you know when the background check starts.

Its December and there's no movement yet!

I see AOR After 8th sept getting into progress(2) but ours still stuvk on progress(1).

We ordered GCMS and they say that there seems to be a delay in releasing them. Is it a bad news?

What do we make out of this?

No nothing to worry. Its just super slow these days, its probably better to expect it will actually take 6months or a bit more even. We just need to wait till we reach 6months. We all are at same page, if no news after 6months then...can call IRCC and ask whats going on....

Calling them is going to be useless. They're not giving any information.

Yeah true but they are saying we can call and ask status once we hit 6months, so what can we do else i feeling miserable with my situation too hmmm..

My timeline follows as:
ITA : 25th July
AOR: 8th Sep
MEDPASS: 2nd Oct
VO: Montreal.
I went through some forums and what they mentioned is it takes 6 months for Montreal Visa office. Apart from this,On IMMI tracker I found for Indian residents and citizens whose AOR is in September (till sep5th) , their status has moved to IP2(It's a good sign though). Guess we may notice few changes in the following week. NOTE: Is there anyone with AOR on same date and Montreal as their Visa office ?

you just cracked my ribs with that killer question "he must be from the North pole" but honestly speaking the winter is good so far!! we should brace up for when it hits pretty hard next month

. South pole is colder from the North pole, that is why +5 is like Summer for him, reason to ask him if he is from South pole.

Hi, I just want to clarify some timelines.....
I submitted my application Sept 21 2018. Medicals were approved Oct 21 2018. I saw the status bar (the CIC posted Dec 12th) and it states the application should be completed March 21 2019. So exactly when am I expected to LAND in Canada? I need to give my job notice and I am confused as I thought it was a year from the date medicals were approved. So I thought that I was expected to land around August....

Can someone please clarify. I think i have been reading too many blog posts and now my brain is twisted...

I have the exact same timeline and I am expecting mine to come through in Jan... probably around mid or end Jan but it will definitely not be 21st March. Once you get the mail you can land anytime but I would suggest a timeline of March/April as thats when the most job openings come through

I need some thoughts here : I moved from one state to another in US just recently . Can members please pour thoughts/suggestions how does an application get impacted if I do not update the change of address ?

Also if I update change of address now , how does it affect my application ?
