Hi all, I have some questions about applying Express Entry with my common-law partner.
I am planning to apply for Express Entry in January 2019 with my common-law partner. I have been together with my common-law partner for 4 years now, but we might not have enough proofs to prove that we have been living together for more than 12 months. We live with my parents, which the house is under my father's name, so we don't have a lease. And all the utility bills are all under my father's name. The only proof we have is a joint bank account, which the bank statements shows both our name with the same address.
Here are my questions:
1. Is the joint bank account enough to proof our relationship as common-law partners?
2. If not, should I still apply Express Entry with my common-law partner, or should I apply as single applicant and sponsor my common-law partner as a spouse after we get married when I get my PR? Or any other suggestions?
Thanks guys!
