finally got the progress bar. it says 6 days remaining for processing time. this is equivalent to lying from their side.

The much hyped progress bar is nothin but nonsense .. IRCC tryin to tell in quite words hv patience in the form of Da Progress Bar !!

Give them some credit! At least they had the imagination and creativity to think up this nonsense and then bring it to life - unlike most agencies that are boring and unimaginative

From my experience of software development implementing that progress bar is a days work. According to me its a visual gimmick. A better idea would be to link the notes data from the GCMS to our profile page.

I see no replies on her twitter at least.

She retweeted her own tweet 7 times tagging every one the Minister and in the agency. There were about 13 people who retweeted her first post but guess what...no response....

On the brighter side,

I saw how @mathansri looks...on his twitter profile.

On the dimmer side,

I noticed the lady had addressed the Minister as Dear.

After that one Manic Monday for CEC candidates it has been awfully quite from CIC. This is another week where nothing much has happened.

Based on recent past experiences Friday is going to be dull. We still have almost all day to go here but generally news started trickling in by now. I don't have particularly high hopes from next two weeks. Whatever the holiday calendar may say I know based on experience in US that things really slow down during those two weeks and I don't expect any different from Canada. May be we can hope for something by next Wednesday/ Thursday. But after that it may be a long silence till first week Jan.

I hope I'm wrong but I think for all practical purposes we should now be looking at January 2nd week as possible end to our woes. So book your new year holidays now and don't worry about sending passports to CIC.

Called cic.. earlier agents said eligibility is passed. . Today they said its met (kinda relieved i thought m in SS). criminality is definitely passed.. and agent said security is not yet started, even if it is started we won't be able to tell you..( dont dont knw wat this means) so. .now i will not wait for any ghost or ppr email till January
