I am June 12 AOR primary office Ottawa, no mobement since 16 October IP2. Ao the only thing they did with the progress bar is, that they have find another way of justifying as to why our apps are pending.

I don't think that the progress (even if the VO sees) will affect them any way.

They have just given us a new UI to feel different. There's nothing new which they already not know, just a different way of showing it.

One question for you guys...in addition to the famous progress bar email, I got an email earlier in the morning from cic that my application has been updated and nothing has changed in the application...is this what people on the forum have been referring to as ghost update and if so what is the significance of this?

What was the status in your CIC account when you first logged in ??

Was it "Submitted" or "Updated" ??

yep, that sounds like the ghost update. Hopefully this means that the PPR is near

It had been submitted all this time...after this email it showed updated but inside nothing had changed...now its back to showing submitted...

If it comes tomorrow...I will let you know for sure...however I would rather not get my hopes up at this stage...

Good for you buddy! I know you’re being sarcastic and you find people getting restless here amusing. But a little sensitivity in life goes a long way. I’ve ignored your messages in the past because Sid says you’re a nice guy and I trust his judgement. But you don’t need to rub it in to people every time.

I think you meant 80%... they are THAT good, we are just unlucky. /s

wow... woke up checking the progress bar update email from the CIC.
I logged in to my CIC account and guess what. No bar at all and no progress either.
I didn't realise so far that a "system" update can be applied to just some separate group of users...
Well now I know that it's possible with the CIC. haha
