I'm European, I don't think the Singaporean passport would suit me..

That is a question this forum can't answer. That depends on your family situation, work situation and what not. It is clear that for traveling for example a Canadian passport is better than, say an Afghan passport. But when it comes to all other important questions in life, there is much more than the travel index. What good is a Canadian passport if you want to work in Singapore, for example?
