Is it possible to get a PR within 5 months? (PNP)

One of my friend, actual story, he got a PR within 5 months (PNP case)

he applied federal on July 2018 and he got file No. Aug 2018

And early Nov, he did body exam and he got PR today.



Here is my case, I applied federal on July 2017, I got body exam on July 2018 and still waiting now (almost 19 months)

Thats the case only if his PNP was under express entry.. Paper applications have processing time of 19 months.

That was extreme luck or Express Entry through PNP.
I applied in January 2017 and still waiting.
