Hi everyone,

I am writing my test tomorrow morning in Scarborough.

Kindly advise if I should take any additional documents in addition to the requested documents in the Notice provided by CIC.

Also, any tips on preparation for the interview?

Take all originals of copies sent when you mailed your application: Provincial healthcare card, Passport, PR card, any document stating a change in your status after you applied for citizenship i.e. new job contract, divorce or wedding certificate, birth certificate for newborn, etc.

Make sure you study well Dicover Canada study guide. Read it 3-4 times and try memorize key events and dates. Do as many online tests as you can.

Arrive 30 min to 45 min ahead.

Don’t panic . Stay calm. Everything will be fine.

Good luck !

I sat for my exam last month (Nov. 26) Scarborough and the interviewer asked for the following:
1. Drivers license
2. PR Card
3. Original passports-2 (They cover the time period since becoming PR)
The interviewer asked me if I work or studying -I said I work. he asked if I worked full time or not and what exactly I did at work. I explained in three words. He said that I passed the exam with 19/20 and should expect an oath letter between 2-3 months. That was it.

Normally the Invite letter has the list of documents you need to bring.
You just have to read it ...
