Thanks for sharing ur experience.. And have a good luck with ur new life in Canada. This post really benefit to all pending applicants.. So plz keep posting ur experiences..thanks once again..UPDATE-Short Landing: Completed my landing last December 9, 2018 at Toronto (MANILA-HONGKONG-TORONTO-MONTREAL), arrived there at Sunday 1am, since it is weekend, no long queue at immigration (i have a friend who landed morning weekdays took him 2-3hrs to finish the immigration due to long queue), the downside is Service Canada is close. My advice is if you have a connecting flight make sure to a lot 5 hrs transit time, you can't predict the long queue at immigration. When i booked my flight i mislooked this small details there is only 2hrs transit time for my flight to Montreal, good thing my friend noticed it and then last minute he rebooked my flight Toronto-Montreal while i was in Hongkong.
Immigration officer greeted me with smile, i gave my documents, she asked me if i have money with me i told him i have 3k Canadian dollar, she didn't asked me to show the money. Then she asked me for mailing address, i have 3 address prepared from my close friends in Canada, one in Calgary, Saskatchewan and last is Montreal address. First i told her if i can give the Saskatchewan address, i noticed a smirked from her face so i gave the Montreal address immediately to avoid any argument. Then she just told me to sign the COPR and explained that it will take 45 days for PR card to arrive. She asked me if what is my final destination, i told her i have a flight after 2hours to Montreal.
She ended the process by greeting me "Welcome to Canada". By the time i heard that phrase, i was a big relief that the 5 years processing time has completely ended.
Next i went to customs to submit the forms, everything is straightforward, took me 30 minutes to finish the immigration and customs (I guess because it is wee hours of Sunday). Boarded my flight to Montreal after 2hours, Montreal outside temperature is -8. Tried to walk outside to use the public bus, the temperature is freezing. I am not prepared with proper clothing, i only have a leather jacket, the rest of my cloth is designed for tropical weather. Went back again to airport to take taxi going to Beausejour Apartments - Hotel Dorval.
The next day (monday) applied SIN at nearby service canada and then afterwards went to Royal Bank Canada to open bank account.
Tuesday is my flight back to Philippines, due my upcoming wedding on December 23.
Thank you for reading my post. Hope this helps to fellow Abu Dhabi applicants.

Hi MAITAhello friends,
i have submitted passport on sunday,
can we live anywhere in canada or most we have to stay in Quebec until passport, please advise
thanks
Quebec is a beautiful province with lot of opportunities. While applying under the scheme you have in a way pledged to stay here . Your move to another province without trying your luck in Quebec , wont be a good idea.Hi MAITA
Spending some time in Quebec will not hurt you after you have signed the contract of intent to reside in Quebec.
Some persons advice to stay at least 1 year or until you have filed income tax. Or even better, once you have your Canadian citizenship.
If at the landing you are considered as you never intended to reside in the nominating province , this could give rise to an allegation of misrepresentation.
Maybe there is better advice from our friends in the forum.
I submitted also the passports and am just waiting to get them back to announce the news
