Ok, are you in Canada already and applying under CEC? If not, you definitely need to submit your police clearance.

regards
Yes I am in Canada since 4 years and never been to india yet. I turned 18 in Canada.

I am not sure if it is under CEC, application name in the list is “Permanent Residency”. It was automatically generated/sent after ITA was accepted.

Well it's really up to you. The name change section is really meant for those who have changed their name legally, but as long as everything is well explained you have nothing to worry about.

Regards
You’re right but in my case the difference is also stated on top of the Wes report. So just taking a judgement call and explaining since I have been known by this name in my university records. I have chosen “Others” for type of other names used.

Hi,

I have a question regarding the GIven name. For the people who don't have the Family name and have only the Given name should mention their given name in the family name place and leave Given name Blank or should I mention "NA"?

I have checked CIC website, it says to leave it blank http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=014&top=4 and

On Guide 5525 it says write 'NA'. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5525-basic-guide-sponsor-your-spouse-partner-child.html#spouse

Can you guys please help me out. Thanks

hello. i have one question please. my crs score without my spouse is 445 as i mentioned him( not accompanying me) . if i receive ITA can i include my 2 kids to my PR application without him as i can't go there for one year and stay away from them almost one year to finish sponsorship for them. Or their presence in my PR application may affect my crs score and the application will be rejected.

Kids can be included. However, do you have a reason for not including your spouse other than just the difference of points? You will need a valid and acceptable reason for your spouse to stay back.

It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

But...

(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
I am new to the forum and thus a new applicant. This thread cleared lots of misunderstandings.

Thanks for positing the thread good job

Need some advice here.
I am from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
I have applied for Express Entry twice in 2017 and the application was cancelled once and refused second time (forgot to put ECA). It’s not of concern at this time.
I applied with a new profile in the pool in January 2018. My IELTS test results were about to expire in February 2018 and so profile became ineligible in March 2018.
I want to apply for Express Entry again as I have updated my IELTS test results. My points when checked on CRS tool are 475+ (477 to be specific).
The problem is: I am not able to create a new profile.
1) I have tried creating a new profile by going into My account > home > apply to come to Canada > two options should be available:
a) I have a personal reference code
b) I do not have a personal reference code
a) In the ‘personal reference code section’, I did go to Express entry wizard and created my own personal reference to begin my application. But when I enter it, it says “I already have an application in progress” so I am UNABLE to go through that.
b) In the ‘I do not have personal reference code’ section, there should be 3 options available:
- visit/study/work permit
- International Experience class
- Express Entry (“Express entry” option is not available so I am UNABLE to make a new profile)
I have already sent in a request from IRCC webform regarding getting my Ineligible profile to be deleted from my account.
Main question is :
Is there any other place within my account from where I can create another profile to be put into the express entry pool?
If there is, please let me know from where I can.
Help would be much appreciated.

Hi ... Have a doubt . Planning to apply for express entry to Canada. My husband is going to be primary applicant . He has completed pgdbm through correspondence in symbiosis scdl program . Is it valid to be taken master's when calculating CRS ?? Your feedbacks will clear our doubts .
