Hey everyone,

After a ghost update last week, I received an email yesterday (which was immediately sent to my spam folder), with the subject "Ready for Visa/Pret pour Visa", which instructs me to send my passport (and photographs) to the Ottawa office. I initially suspected it to be spam too, but it has all these details of my application (UCI number and application number), so is this the golden email?

Tried ordering GCMS notes on 15th October, 2018, haven't received yet, did try to mail them but no luck..
Called CIC, got to know that my eligibility is recommended passed (is this positive?), but my background check haven't started yet.
Anyone in same boat ????????

My AOR is July 30. According to my latest gcms notes (requested on ~ Nov 5), my status is the same as yours:
Eligibility: Recommend Passed
Criminality: in progress
Security: not started
CEC-inland
office: Ottawa


I should have requested the notes after Nov 7, as there was a du date on my notes on Nov 7.

I am still in IP1, and heard that Vegreville location is closed, not sure about the current CPC

I have the exact same timeline and same CPC with Eligibility as Recommend Passed.

I called CIC to ask about the CPC Vegreville status and the agent told me as all the express entry profiles are online, it doesnt really matter or cause any delay. They would digitally transfer files over to another CPC.

I am also in a same boat. I haven't ordered GCMS notes yet for mine,but called CIC and agent told me same thing as yours

All CEC inland are in same boat and same status. It is just a matter of time.
Batch of PPR came on November 26th with AOR dates of June 15th - 22nd.
So, hoping July batch is approved by end of December

How come you are in IP1 as for CEC Inland, Background check starts immediately after Medical Passed
