Anyone know any kind of timeline for the Los Angeles LVO? My file was transferred there almost 6 months ago after passing my meds and there has been no movement since. Not sure if any vets on this forum are familiar with trends at all at this office.

Landed on Saturday November 17 by flagpoling at the Coutts/Sweetgrass border without a US visa and everything went smoothly. Ecas changed to complete today and a line was added saying that I became a PR on Saturday and I just successfully linked the app for my PR card to GCKey.

AOR2 is when you see on ECAS (PA side) that they've started processing that. It will replace the medical request line on #2.

Now they sent it to Los Angeles it was first sent to Sydney and after my husband got approved, they sent our application to Mississauga for further processing. Now it was sent to LA. Has anyone had this experience before or know why the change :/?

We had the same thing last week. We were being processed in Mississauga and then received a letter last week that the file was transferred to Los Angeles. Not sure why. Neither of us are American or have lived in the US. We live in Canada but submitted an outland application.

Here is my timeline.

1. Application sent July 13th
2. Application received July 26th
3. AOR oct 2nd
4. Medical request oct 9th
5. Sponsor Approval oct 9th
6. Transfer to CPC-M oct 12th
7. Medical Done oct 26th
8. Medical submitted nov 2nd
9. Medical passed nov 9th
10. CPC-M start processing on nov 16th
11. Pre-arrival letter from CPC-M on nov 17th
12. They start BG check when that I do not know.

What next? How long they take to check BGC ?

We had the same thing last week. We were being processed in Mississauga and then received a letter last week that the file was transferred to Los Angeles. Not sure why. Neither of us are American or have lived in the US. We live in Canada but submitted an outland application.

So frustrating! I don't think we made a mistake. I still asked for my notes yesterday. Please have me updated if you have any news or what your notes say. I'll do the same. Thanks a lot!

I have a question. I received a request for additional documents about my military service on November 29th. I sent these documents today via email to Mississauga and my GCkey now says "Additional Documents have been uploaded.

But when I click on view submitted application in GCkey uner supporting Documents details it says replacement needed.

What does that mean. Is my document not okay or should I just wait? I am confused because also the status of the application still says your action is required. Is it possible that it says replacement needed because no one has probably looked at the document yet?

I am always getting to worried about those things so it would be great if someone know what that means.

I went through this, so hopefully I'm answering this correctly. You do have the option to upload directly into GCKey, by clicking on view submitted application & uploading the appropriate docs where they are listed. If you had gone that route, it probably would have switched to "replacement uploaded." Since you emailed it (we did the same thing - it claims it's faster), the original statement of "replacement needed" is still in GCKey even though they have received it.

Did you receive an email back from CIC saying that they acknowledged receipt? If so, that's all you need until they tell you otherwise.

It took just shy of a month after they received our additional documents to update ECAS to DM and send PPR (November 7 - Today). No real updates in the meantime, and I was stressing over whether my additional proof was going to be sufficient that entire time.

Thank you so much for your answer. That makes me feel a bit less worried. I did not receive am email. But inside my gckey it says your additional documents have been uploaded. So based on that statemet I assume that they received it. I will give it some days. I was pretty fast providint the info so out of those 30 days I still have 23 left. I realized to late that instead of emailing I could have just uploaded the document directly. Didnt think about it because they said in the letter fastest will be email.

My husband sponsorship is outland from Egypt but lives out of status in France. Just got SA approval and then an email saying his application will be processed in CIC Mississauga. Is that a good or bad thing lol. Is it because its complex it stays there. I was confused. They still have not requested medical from him.

maybe the same situation, i got the SA approval saying that his application gonna be processed in CIC Mississauga. even my husband lives Cairi-egypte.
i don'y know why ??? did u get any explication pls ???
