I have just called IDP to know about the EOR result of 13th October Test and they told me they have received the sealed copy and will dispatch it tomorrow.
I asked them whether there is a change or not but they replied they couldn't tell as it is sealed. I also asked them if there is a change, do they send the same result already, i mean the same TRF? To that question they said, Yes. Now I'm confused as hell.

You will not know the result till the time you receive the courier and open the envelope. Good luck!
It depends on the primary applicant's score. I think you should apply as primary applicant as your score is really good. If your wife is primary applicant then go for EoR because you will get your money back even if score changes in either W or S. If scores change in both then you'll achieve what you need !!
If result is unchanged they will send the old trf back which would have been returned in the sealed envelope from Australia.
How do you know if IDP is in US? Do not think the US has IDP or BC (like in India or any other countries), IELTS does not have any BC or IDP categorization in the US. First check with your IELTS exam center where did they send your EOR application.

I haven’t received any mail or notification from IDP yet but there is an increase of 1 band from 6.5 to 7.5 in speaking module and no change in writing component.I don’t know if the writing component is still to be checked or is it already checked but atleast I will get my money back.
