Is Spouse Provident Fund accepted as proof of funds? could somebody help me on this. I have obtained certificate from PF office India for myself and my wife.

Yes, I have filed my PR appln. with spouse's PF balance as POF. Many people have got PR this way. Make sure you get a letter from the PF office about your PF balance.

Thanks

it seems your spouse is the primary applicant. In my case, my spouse is co-applicant. I have PF certificate for both myself and my spouse from PF office. Could I use them to show the PoF?

Spouse is PA. I am dependent - My PF was used for POF.

So "spouse"'s PF was used for POF - Clear?

Yes I am clear. Thank you for replying. In my case, I am the primary applicant and my spouse is dependent. Dependents Provident Fund cannot be shown as PoF. Only Primary applicants PF can be shown as PoF. Am I right?

False.
Please see above. I have mentioned clearly that I am the dependent and my PF has been used for POF. PA is my spouse.

Hi,,,thank you for the reference....
But if you read the line "If your spouse is coming with you, you can count money you have together in a joint account. You may be able to count money in an account under their name only, but you must prove you have access to the money.", it states that we must prove that we have access. In case of Spouse Provident fund, how could we prove that we (Primary Applicant) have access to that Money.

1) Should we include a Letter of Explanation from Spouse authorizing me to make use the money in PF
