my spouse's med status changed a day before the last day to submit. I never called or email CIC because the people I talk to have no control over the way application is handled so I felt it was no use calling 7-8 times everyday to get through to a person who may or maynot have a good news.... i learnt one thing in this entire process....have a bit of faith in CIC and a lot of patience in yourself. It is easier said than done but really, freaking out and getting restless isnt going to give any returns apart from gray hair lol...
My only suggestion/request/advise is just remain calm. I have been in a LDR before getting married for 4.5 yrs and trust me like everyone here me and my now spouse had our bit of conversations of "i am tired of this" or "when will i get there" but you just have to live through it and utilize this time to plan as much as we can to make the transition for our spouse easier than anything. All we can do is wait and hopefully pray !!
