There’s no doubt that going to study in a foreign country, with its different language and culture, can be frustrating and sometimes painful experience. However, keeping in mind and inspired by this statement that “you can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore” me, ******* Shrestha a tech enthusiastic person grown and brought up in ******** district, whose life is basically all about her interest in computers and troubleshooting networks is willing to pursue the further study to master the craft of maintaining computer systems and networks.

Ever since my father bought me a computer, there were hardly some days in which I would not be on my computer learning something new, doing something interesting. I have been a computer science student since my 10th grade. I quickly developed interest in this subject as I felt in the future people would be more dependent to computers than ever before. I used to play a lot of computer games I always wondered the complexities behind developing an app, the latest computer systems and the intricacies of operating such systems. Slowing and gradually, the hobby became a passion and I made myself determinant about making a career in computer science. I aim to pursue an under- graduate technician diploma program in computer engineering.

After scoring excellent grades (A+) in computer science and an overall aggregate of GPA 3.25 in the 10th grade from *****
School, I decided to further study this subject as my major in my 11th and 12th grade. During these 2 years, I learned to delve deeper into concepts and widen my horizons to the possibilities offered by this field. I managed to score (A+) in Computer science and an overall aggregate of GPA 3.22 in the 12th grade with (CGPA) of 3.15. I have also gathered valuable experience in interacting with teachers and developed presentation skills via technical discussions, Project Thesis and debates. In September 2018, I obtained an overall IELTS band score of 7.0 (Listening: 7.0, Reading: 7.0, Writing: 6.0, Speaking: 7.0).

Apart from having the academic proficiency, I was actively involved in extra-curricular activities and sports, right from my schooling. During my school days, I have represented my school in various activities and won many prizes in Sports .Also, I enjoy internet surfing to know about the latest and advancedtechnological innovations. Besides browsing, I love staying active through dancing and playing badminton with my mother in leisure time. These social activities have improved my interpersonal skills and enabled me to appreciate on how healthy mind contributes to positive decisions in life.

I am further prepared to deepen and refine my expertise throughComputer Systems Technician- Networking Course which has led me to take admission in one of the top Colleges, Georgian College, Canada. This program prepares students learn how to use and manage information technologies to revitalize business process, troubleshoot electronic complexities. In the future, I aspire to become a computer science graduate. I am certain that my chosen course is right for me and having this diploma would ensure better employment opportunities and a successful career back at home with good package of salary after completion. On the other hand, in Nepal huge amount of money is being expensed to foreign countries for buying networking software. In this great matter of concern, this study course will make me eligible in developing necessary software which will help me in deducting the money drained out to abroad and will help me in benefiting the country economically. And, it’s not onlysomething that inspired me, but it is something that I have relevant experience in.

In addition, I am convinced that Canada is a better option compared to other destinations as it has developed a first rate Education system with high standards and Global Recognition. It is considered peaceful, safe and orderly country. Being a country of immigrants from all over the world, different perspectives are respected and learning together is encouraged. But the most obvious reason for me to choose Canada is that higher education institution in my country mainly focuses on the theoretical aspect of studies and not on the practical aspect. I fully understand that a fine balance between these two attributes is a paramount for developing a thorough understanding of concepts. The selected program “computer systems technician- Networking” focuses on both theory and practical features with leading facilities.

Moreover, Georgian College is one of the topmost colleges in Ontario to offer Co-operative Education (Co-op) programs and is a recognized leader in providing ‘work & learn’ experience through its partnerships with 6200 local & international employers. In this college’s program, my skills on networking, system administration, virtualization, and security related to new computer networks and the maintenance of existing computer networks which I was hoping to learn to improve my skills and refine them. The world class quality education, highly trained faculty members and other facilities such as health insurance plans, public safety and security, recreation programs and events for personal development that Georgian college provides is alluring in itself. With a thorough research, I have concluded that Georgian’s courses and degree are perfect for my future career.

After completion of my two years diploma course, I wish to go for the University Degree as well and gain more knowledge about computer support specialist. With this qualification, I will also fall on the same category of few professional network technicians in Nepal. I strongly believe the qualification that I get in Canada will highly be appreciated. I wish to inform you that I do not have any intention whatsoever to overstay in Canada. After completion of my study in Canada, I plan to return to my home country where there are great potential and many opportunities for people having foreign education in my chosen field.

Furthermore, I am showing the sufficient funds with my Family support to meet the College Tuition fee, travelling expenses and my living cost during my stay in Canada. I have enclosed those documents with my application. Please consider my request at earliest possible, so that I would meet my course in time and also find the necessary documents attached with this application.

Hence, I would be very grateful if I earn a chance to acquire degree and knowledge at Canada. I assure you that, I have a keen interest in information technology and computer technician- Networking and with a degree from Georgiancollege I will have certainty to grow in the field I am passionate about, here in Nepal.

Thank you for your time and consideration and would be looking forward to get positive response from your side.

Sincerely,

You just copy pasted Georgian college brochure....
If u stress on 6200 employers they give you access to... What does it hint.. it means you will not come.back... such a lie...lol

There are too many I...I... I... In it
Get it written nicely
Points:
Talk about Ur skills.. life and professional
Talk about what have u learnt at work or how have u grown
It's funny to say goal is to be a computer science graduate... Life goal and professional goals are not to become a graduate but what u wish to achieve in 2-5 yrs.
U said some things about expenses Nepal is doing.. how doea a course have the power to change a country that far?
Write it from different perspective ... Opportunity available after the course.. what kinda employers u target IN NEPAL( ON RETURN)
how will a diploma help... Vs masters ?? Think about it.
