Not sure how relevant this may be, now or in the future but, after my test and during my interview yesterday in Calgary, the interviewing officer said I’d be invited for the oath in 3 months.
For now, I’ll occupy myself with other issues.
On a lighter note, I scored 100% on the test. Reading the ‘Discover Canada’ book really helped, but ‘Best Canadian Citizenship test’ by Deedal Studios Inc- an app I downloaded from App Store, made the test look so easy. I finished in 5 minutes, maybe less.

today I called cic helpline and spoke with agent about the status of my application, she said your background check is completed the local cic office will contact you.
What dose this mean? They contact me for test invite?

Hi AAA,
I think it is tight, but doable. However, I’m not sure if it’s just how I understood you, or if the urgency is for a holiday trip (leisure). If that’s the case, if you put yourself in CIC shoes, you’d see that it may not be a good enough reason to expedite action on your file.

It means you should be expecting a test invite/ interview if your background check is clean. You can check your ecas and email. My ECAS shows an earlier date than I actually received, for test invite. I’d say watch your ECAS and email, and start (if you haven’t) reading for the test.

Hello... soon it's going to be three months since my status changed to "In Process". I have a very important trip in May. I am worried that I wont get my citizenship on time for that trip. I filled a family application and my local office is Montréal.

Well, I guess there's not much you guys can do. I'm just sharing my frustration/concern.

Hello Najabad 14,

I tried to communicate with CIC at their phone number, but I was not able to speak to an agent, I only got pre recorded messages. I know it might be a long shot but, do you remember what options did you choose?
