Urgent help .. visitor extension refused..

Guys please help .. i was on visitor status.. i met with an employer who gave me lmia and wanted to join his company..in the process of lmia.. my visitor visa was about to expire so.. i filed for an extension.. now my extension got refused... my question is..

Can i restore my status as a worker ..since i have a positive lmia ?

What options do i have ?

Sounds like you don't have positive LMIA yet. You cannot apply for a work permit until the LMIA is accepted and you get an LMIA number. What is the job title? Are you from a country that does not require a visa to come to Canada. If you are, if the LMIA is accepted you could leave and get the work permit at the border.

Flagpoling isn't possible even if the OP is visa exempt. You must have valid status in Canada to flagpole.

Thankyou for replying guys .. i do have positive lmia and number.... .. so what should i do.? I have read that u need to leave the country in order to apply for a workpermit.. then apply from home country ..

I dont want to leave ..is there any way i can apply from inside.. my home country is india !

Can i apply for restoration as a worker online.. ?

Since i have all the necessary paper work.. (LMIA)

Hmmm, you might find it difficult to get an LMIA approved for that job. Usually LMIA's are only approved if the job is specialized. You don't have a positive LMIA yet, so you can't apply for a work permit until you get it.

OP changing story here. In the first post they said they are IN THE PROCESS of LMIA and then changed it to they have it and number. I would make sure the LMIA is real, as the job is not really skilled (as in any Canadian can possibly do it).

I repeat again... wen i got first 6 months of visitor visa.. .. employer offere d me a job..as i already had a experience back home from big food chain restaurants.. as we all know.. process takes time 40 days advertising.. employer looked into every skills on mine.. and decided to give me a job... then applied for my lmia.. and it got approved.. meanwhile.. while this process was in progress.. my intial 6 months was about to expire.. i applied for extension.. now i was just waiting for the extension decision ... and it got refused.. i thought the extension will get approved and ill apply for work permit.. now i have no idea.. what to do .. !
